There’s no real destination for that record, it’s simply an improvisation with an unstable media. WHALES here, use an old illegally recorded conference of J. M. Chaput about feminism on tape, dated 1974. The unpredictable gestures and sequences from those speeches, when used for improvisation, create a weird feeling of stress and tension. Some tracks get straight to you, without fear, others get slowly somewhere, with a dense and dark feeling. It’s a weird exploration into sounds and creativity.
